Notes
Notes:
The CD's for this show were received in trade several years back by Michael Turi.
This source however seems to have not made it into circulation. This is an excellent
FOB recording, however specifics on the mics and deck used by John Hance are not
available.
Known Flaws:
-There is significant dead air between many non-sequential tracks. Tracks
were cut in the middle of these segments causing the dead spaces to end one track and
begin the next.
-In several places the recorder was abrubtly paused between tracks, no music was lost.
-After the first few notes of Little Red Rooster the recorder was briefly paused,
a couple of seconds of music are lost.
-There is a brief cut in the transition between Shakedown Street and Lost Sailor.
-The very ending of Uncle John's Band is faded out.
-Several minutes of Drums is missing.
Tagging notes:
Show information is embedded within the header of each flac file.
It will display on any player capable of directly playing flac files.
If converted to wav during processing, all tags will be stripped,
however audio data will remain unaffected.
If you must transcode to a lossy format, do so directly Flac > Lossy.
Use ffp to validate audio integrity.
Md5 values will change if tagging is altered.

Subject: Praise
Despite that, it was a great, but very long show. It sounded just as good live, for sure. We made a weekend out if it; we were invited to a bluegrass festival the following day. LOL
Subject: I think this one has the best sound
Subject: it's got the clap!
Subject: Hot damn, this one's the shiznit
Out.....Freakin'.....Standing.
Vocals crisp, drums defined, guitars in your face and Phil...well, Phil is a thundering force that will make any money you may have put into a subwoofer become one of the best investments you will ever make.
Show itself is legendary for a reason. I'll leave it at that. A million thanks for finding this jewel. I know many folks will never be swayed by an AUD, but this is about as good as it gets folks.
